The other day my baby said that I was starting to look a little shaggy
So she whipped out a pair of scissors and told me to have a seat
She wrapped a nice, warm towel around my neck and then she started clippin
And when she was done, I’ll be damned, it didn’t look half bad
She came over to me, put her hands on my cheeks
She leaned in real close and gave me a kiss
A few weeks later my baby turned and she gave me a funny look
She said “the back’s too long and I don’t like the way it’s growing”
But I said “Too bad, honey, I think I’m really starting to dig it”
It’s easy to manage and I like the way my hats fit now
Then she came over to me, put her hands on my cheeks and said
“Let me give you a haircut, I’ll give you a kiss”
About a month later, I woke up to a cool breeze blowing around my head
In a drunken state, I’d let myself get shaven clean bald
My baby said she couldn’t believe I’d let her do it, and she started laughing
I thought she was gonna piss the bed she was giggling so hard
So I rolled over to her, put my hands on her cheeks
I pursed my lips and said “Gimme something sweet”
But she just kept on laughing
She said “I hate your new haircut, and I don’t want to kiss”
